    Rainbow Beach & Fraser Island

    Rainbow Beach itself I can’t really be described as a town, considering the main strip consists of roughly 10 shops, most of which sell your usual beach resort tat of towels and bodyboards etc. The coincidently named “Dingo’s” hostel seemed to be the main attraction of the town. Our purpose for visiting Rainbow Beach was simple, to cross over the sea and visit Fraser Island.   There quickly appears to be a theme that I knew absolutely nothing about what I was doing on this trip.
